Casey has been a professional photographer for over two decades, and he has been published in numerous magazines, including cover shots.

Casey's works have appeared on CBS News, Al Jazeera, History Channel, Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, Gila Film Festival and numerous other publications. Casey specializes in 4K, motion-control, timelapse, Milky Way photography, Iceland landscapes, desert landscapes and cityscapes, including aerial drone filming.

Casey is the owner of Joshua Tree Workshops, which offers Photography workshops in Joshua Tree and Death Valley National Parks - specializing in Milky Way Photography.

Casey has been documenting the community of Joshua Tree. Specifically, the effort to provide state-wide protections for the Western Joshua Tree species. His documentary titled “I Thought They Were Protected” will be published in 2024.

Casey founded, and is the Festival Director for, the "Timelapse Film Festival" - The premiere event for timelapse filmmakers worldwide. The recent winners can be viewed here. The festival occurs annually (late summer) in Joshua Tree, California.
